Industrial Concrete Floor Coatings

When a floor has to stand up to heavy traffic, chemicals, and constant use, it needs an industrial-grade coating system — not a basic sealer. We offer Smith's professional line of epoxies, urethanes, and polyaspartics, engineered for the toughest environments: manufacturing, warehouses, food & beverage, healthcare, hangars, and commercial floors. Call and talk to a real surface-prep expert, not a call center.

Build Your Floor System

A professional floor coating is usually a system — a base coat, plus a topcoat that provides the wear surface and finish. Here's how our Smith's coatings fit together:

The Foundation (Base / Body Coat)

  • Epoxy MPP3 — a 100% solids multipurpose epoxy for priming, body coats, vinyl chip and quartz broadcast systems, and patching

The Finish (Topcoats)

  • Hi-Wear 90S — low-sheen, maximum-longevity urethane for the heaviest-traffic industrial floors
  • CRU '86 — high-gloss, UV-stable urethane for showrooms, hangars, and decorative floors
  • Polyaspartic 5000LO — low-odor, UV-stable polyaspartic with next-day return to service

Which Coating Do You Need?

  • Need a base coat or full-build floor? Start with Epoxy MPP3 — the versatile foundation
  • Heavy traffic, want it to last? Top with Hi-Wear 90S (low sheen)
  • Want high gloss and reflectivity? Top with CRU '86
  • Need low odor and fast return to service? Polyaspartic 5000LO
  • Decorative floor (metallic, chip, quartz)? MPP3 base + a UV-stable topcoat

Not sure how to build your system? That's exactly what we're here for — call and we'll spec the right base and topcoat for your floor, your traffic, and your finish.

Smith’s Polyaspartic 7000LO — Floor Coating

  • 76% solids — high build, up to 15 mils per coat without foaming
  • Low odor and low VOC (<249 g/L)
  • Fast cure — recoat within a few hours; heavy/forklift traffic in ~24 hours
  • UV-stable, aliphatic — non-yellowing; interior or exterior
  • Excellent chemical and stain resistance
  • Hot liquid spill tolerant — to 300°F over a thermal-shock-resistant system
  • Hot tire pickup resistant
  • Meets FDA & USDA flooring requirements (indirect food contact)
  • 1:1 mix ratio with a longer working time than most competitors’ polyaspartics

Smith’s Epoxy MPP3 — Multipurpose Floor Epoxy

  • 100% solids epoxy — no shrinkage, a full-build coat
  • Multipurpose — primer, body coat, broadcast matrix, or patching
  • Low VOC (3 g/L) and low odor — good for occupied and interior spaces
  • Chemical- and stain-resistant — stands up to acids, bases, oils, and more
  • Very hard and abrasion-resistant — 6H pencil hardness
  • High gloss — >95 @ 60°
  • Good working time with medium viscosity for good flow and self-healing
  • Available in 4 colors — White, Boulder, Glacier Gray, Medium Gray

Smith’s WB Marking Paint

  • Fast return to service — air dries for full traffic in 1–2 hours (even at 50°F / high humidity)
