The EGT System — Built for Dry Polishing
Our EGT Diamond System is a coordinated metal- and resin-bonded diamond system that produces a polished concrete floor entirely dry, in sequence, on any of the eight Prep/Master® models. The green color-coded tools run #1 through #8 — metal-bond tools for grinding, resin tools for polishing — with a densifier step partway through to harden the floor. Is Your Floor Ready?
Dry polishing with the EGT system needs a floor that’s at least 4,250 PSI, over 28 days old, and completely dry. Floors with adhesives, coatings, or built-up contaminants should be prepped first (with the #0 Prep Tool). We always recommend a small mock-up to confirm the finish and the floor’s suitability — call us and we’ll help you evaluate your slab.
