What Is Shot Blasting?
A shot blaster throws steel shot at the floor at high speed to strip coatings, laitance, and contaminants — leaving a clean, profiled surface ready for coatings or overlays. It recovers and recycles the shot as it works and contains the dust, so it's fast, dust-controlled, and ideal for large areas.
