Smith’s Hi-Wear 90S is a premium, high-traffic topcoat for the most demanding industrial floors — a low-sheen, aliphatic, UV-stable, chemical- and abrasion-resistant 90% CRU urethane. It’s engineered as the tough final wear layer over resinous flooring in environments that punish a floor: heavy manufacturing, hangars, healthcare, food & beverage, and vehicle service areas.

Key Features
- 90% solids aliphatic urethane — a dense, highly durable finish
- UV-stable — resists yellowing, even after 1,000+ hours of UV exposure
- Chemical- and stain-resistant — stands up to acids, solvents, oils, and more
- Abrasion-resistant — resists traffic patterns and finish dulling
- Excellent rolling-load resistance — for forklift and pallet-jack traffic
- Low sheen finish with improved light reflectivity
- Doesn’t harbor bacteria or fungus — meets FDA Title 21 for indirect food contact
- Low VOC, nil odor during application
- Overnight return to service
Exceptional Service Life
Hi-Wear 90S is built to last far longer than typical topcoats:
- 2× longer life cycle vs. moisture-cured urethanes
- 3–4× longer vs. polyaspartics
- 5–6× longer vs. 100% solids multi-purpose epoxy
That longevity means fewer recoats, less downtime, and lower long-term cost on high-traffic floors.
