FL-07 Diamond Pads — Our #1 Patented Pad

Our best-selling pads, period: the FL-07 diamond pads are patented and exclusive to Substrate Technology — you can't buy them anywhere else. They're the go-to polishing pad for contractors who know them, fitting a wide range of grinders, and they deliver a consistent, high-quality polish step after step. We also offer them in a ring-type version for hand grinders for edges and detail work. There's one source for FL-07 — and it's us.

STI Diamond Systems & Tooling

Our color-coded diamond polishing systems (CLC, EGT, and TPS) take you from grind to polish on concrete and terrazzo — and we make the full range of STI diamond tooling to go with them:

STI Terrazzos – Terrazzo Polishing Pads

  • For wet polishing epoxy and portland-based terrazzo and stone
  • Used as first cut tool on new, unsealed concrete
  • Use as closing step & first step of restoration
  • Specialized matrix for aggressive cut with fine scratch pattern
  • Cloth tab makes it extremely easy to remove the tool from the velcro holder

STI Terrazzo Plus – Terrazzo Polishing Pads

  • Updated version of the old style “STI Terrazzos”
  • 70% more diamond and abrasives than the standard STI Terrazzos – 37 grams extra to be exact!
  • Unique “Marking Interlayer” – changes the color of the slurry as pad is being consumed and lets operator know that pad needs to be changed
  • Cloth Tab – makes it extremely easy to remove the tool from the velcro holder

#000 Surface Prep Tool

  • Triple PCD
  • Extremely aggressive, super fast PCD tool for bulk removal of coatings, mastics, or rough concrete
  • Dry removal tool only
  • 3-in. metal bond diamond
  • For use on heavy machines, such as the P/M 2807 and up (should not be used with P/M Jr.)

 

SPIN-1 Concrete Polishing Pads

  • Exceptionally great for maintaining polished concrete
  • Diamond-impregnanted natural hair pad – for more aggressive polishing and maintenance
  • Pad life is in excess of 20,000 SF (2,000 M2)
  • Can be run wet or dry
  • For use on concrete floors only!

 

EG Prep Tools for Removal

Wet/Dry 20 Gallon Concrete Vacuum

  • Removes liquid and slurry or dust from floor quickly and easily
  • 2 HP (1.5kW) 2-stage heavy duty bypass motor
