The CLC Diamond System is a complete, matched diamond polishing system — seven coordinated metal- and resin-bond tools (numbered #1–#7) that take concrete from the first grind all the way to a high-gloss polished finish. How the CLC System Works

The CLC System runs as a defined 7-step sequence — not a “pick wet or dry” process. Each numbered tool is used in order, with specific steps run dry and others wet:

• Steps #5–#7 (dry) — resin-bond tools that bring up the final gloss, with a second densifier step
• Step #1 (dry) — metal-bond tool to open and grind the surface
• Steps #2–#4 (wet) — metal- and resin-bond tools to refine, with a densifier applied along the way

Following the numbered sequence is what delivers a consistent, repeatable polished finish.

What’s in the System

• #1 & #2 — metal-bond grinding tools with the patented EG attachment, ~30,000 SF tool life each
• #3 & #4 — 3″ resin-bond tools, red Velcro backing, ~15,000 SF life each
• #5, #6 & #7 — 3″ resin-bond polishing tools, red Velcro, ~10,000–12,000 SF life each

Is Your Floor a Candidate?

For best results the concrete should be clean of coatings and adhesives (a #0 Prep Tool handles prep if needed), at least 4,250 PSI (29 MPa), and over 28 days old. A 100 SF mock-up is recommended before any full job. Not sure if your slab qualifies? Call us and we’ll help you check.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the CLC System wet or dry? Both, in sequence — dry for step #1, wet for steps #2–#4, and dry for steps #5–#7. Following the numbered order is key to the finish.

What machines does it work with? Any of the eight Prep/Master models; the tool count per set varies by machine size.

What floors is it for? Bare concrete at least 4,250 PSI and 28+ days old, clean of coatings — prep first if the floor has adhesives or coatings.
