Velcro pad backers hold your diamond polishing pads securely and let you swap them in seconds. Available in 3, 4, 5, and 7 inches, and in three materials — rubber (flexible), bakelite (rigid), and aluminum (solid) — so you can match the backer to your floor and your job. Each has a 5/8″-11 threaded arbor. The velcro backing grips diamond pads firmly and makes pad changes fast and easy.

Velcro backing — securely holds diamond pads and allows fast, easy pad replacement

Rubber, Bakelite, or Aluminum — Which Do You Need?
The material determines how the backer follows the floor:
Rubber (Flexible) — flexes to follow contours and uneven surfaces; good for edges and floors that aren’t perfectly flat
Bakelite (Rigid) — hot-pressed rigid backer that keeps the pad flat for even contact on level floors
Aluminum (Solid) — machined solid aluminum backer with a 5/8″-11 arbor; the most rigid and durable option
Not sure which fits your job? Call us and we’ll help you choose.
E/Z Backers
Our E/Z backers bolt directly to an E/Z plug holder, with velcro backing that securely holds diamond pads and makes replacement fast and easy:
Aluminum Milled Holder — aluminum backer with a machined 5/8″-11 arbor
Rubber Holder — rubber backer with a 5/8″-11 arbor
Bakelite Holder — hot-pressed rigid bakelite with a 5/8″-11 arbor
Works With Your Diamond Disc Driver
The 3″ rubber backer is the same one that comes with our Diamond Disc Driver — so if you need replacements or extras for your swing machine setup, these are the ones. The driver holds six, so keep spares on hand.
