The FL-07 diamond pads are Substrate Technology’s patented, #1 best-selling resin-bond concrete polishing pads — exclusive to STI and available nowhere else as genuine FL-07. Engineered specifically for dry concrete polishing, these high-end resin pads feature a semi-metal bond and a built-in dense foam riser that delivers scratch-free, swirl-free, high-gloss finishes. With an exceptional 10,000 SF (1,000 M²) pad life, they’re the proven, everyday choice of contractors who polish concrete for a living.

As the patent holder, Substrate Technology is the genuine source — call for pricing, or request a quote, and you’ll talk to a real surface-prep expert, not a call center.

FL-07 Grit Sequence

The FL-07 system carries your floor through the full polishing progression. Run the pads in sequence, coarse to fine:

PadGritPurpose
3C50Initial resin polishing
4C100Refines the scratch pattern
5200Intermediate polishing
6400Higher gloss development
7800Fine polishing
81500Final polish
LUXExtra clarity and “pop”
SBX (Super Buff LUX)Maximum gloss finishing

When Are FL-07 Pads Used?

FL-07 pads are used after grinding, when you’re producing a polished concrete floor (not a CSP profile for coatings). A typical polished concrete process:

  1. Metal-bond diamond grinding
  2. Densifier application (if required)
  3. FL-07 resin polishing sequence (3C through 8)
  4. LUX or SBX finish pad for maximum shine

The FL-07 pads are specially formulated for concrete that has already been ground with metal-bond diamonds — that combination is what produces the absolute best finish.

FL-07 Diamond System – Concrete Polishing

  • 5-step concrete polishing process
  • 3-inch, resin-bond diamonds
  • Specially formulated for concrete – ground with metal bond diamonds for the absolute best finish
  • OR, use the LUX pad as a finishing tool for that extra “POP!”
  • Dry use only
  • Fantastic life of 10,000 SF (1,000 M2)

Fits Virtually Any Machine

FL-07 pads work across the full range of polishing machines:

  • Substrate Prep/Master® grinders
  • Planetary machines
  • Terrco® machines
  • EDCO® machines
  • Swing machines
  • Werkmaster® machines

Also Available: FL-07 Ring-Type
