How It’s Used

Smith’s Liquid Dye fits two decorative concrete processes:

• Polished concrete — apply the dye during polishing (around the 200-grit resin step), then densify with Smith’s Base Boost and continue polishing to your desired finish (e.g., 800, 1500, or 3000 grit)
• Dye and seal — prep the concrete, apply the dye, then seal with a Smith’s sealer or topcoat (like Poly-SEAL+)

Dilute one 8 oz bottle of concentrate with one gallon of water or acetone to make a ready-to-use gallon. Apply with a pump-up sprayer in a fine, circular fog pattern.
